A New Creative Quarter Waterfront

Synopsis

This work focuses on revitalizing Chatham Intra Highstreet. The proposals formed part of a new masterplan which consisted of interventions that aided pedestrianization and improved engagement with the river, stitching together the riverwalk and Highstreet to create a new, open waterfront. The design also focused on implementing new creative infrastructure, including art galleries and workshops. This was accompanied by the provision of new shared living accommodation and flexible creative orientated commercial outlets.
